custom theatre mask

Kest Schwartzman of Frederick, MD Featured in the Frederick News Post

Here at Stage & Screen, we are proud to carry masks from Frederick, MD’s own Kest Schwartzman! Each mask she makes has their own personality, and they differ in personality just like each of your friends do. The masks provide a unique kind of freedom by allowing those who wear them to pretend to be something or someone else. Whether they be for theater productions or special occasions such as Halloween, they function as sculpture off the head, and they are also completely wearable.

Recently, the Frederick News Post featured Kest in an article which described her beginnings in the industry and how she goes about the mask creation process. She began by making some Halloween masks for a bike group she rode with, and the rest, they say, is history! To read more about Kest and the quality of work she brings to our lineup of theatrical supplies, check out the FNP article!
